Vigil: to keep watch in the dark.
Come, vigil together. Melt into the darkness, awake with open hearts, eyes, and bodies to the deaths happening within and around.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 30TH
8-9:30 PM EST, $25 a seat
Put aside your hope for the future and the harms of the past.
The Vigil lives in the present.
Within Living Vigil, you will be guided to*:
Ground in preparation for the vigil.
Light candles to honor the mystery and magic of death.
Meet what’s dying within or around you with presence and reverence.
Integrate through an expression of your choice (movement, sound, journaling, art making, crying, etc.) and group share time.
Close with a group ritual.
*All aspects of this offering are entirely optional. Comes as you are.
This is a live event. Due to the intimate nature of this offering, it will not be recorded.
The vigil honors the wisdom of death.
We do not vigil to tell what’s dying how to die; we vigil to lean in and trust the great mystery together.
Sitting vigil was never intended to be done alone. Like birth, it is a communal act that happens in shifts. We visit the depths and then pass the baton to tend within, knowing someone is always keeping watch.
Living Vigil is not a grief circle. If you need grief support, I invite you to connect with me for 1:1 support or a specialized grief group.
Living Vigil is a trauma-informed, communal, virtual space to be awake and present to what is dying within you and the world. In this space, I will guide you to approach, witness, and listen to death with reverence.
